I owe all of you loyal readers an apology, as it came to our attention that the comment tool we use to keep this blog clean and safe for you was “whacked” for a few days, so you were unable to leave any comments.
But it’s fixed now and we have some great new articles up that we’d like your opinions and advice on.
So, please give it a try and leave a comment. It’s painless…I promise !
To make up to you this error, we’ll be giving away a pair of EIDOLON V-SOLE wedges (you choose the lofts) to a lucky reader who posts a comment between now and the end of the month.
Every reader who posts a comment will be entered into the drawing. Comment on more than one post if you have something to add and your name goes in the hat again !
Thanks for understanding and let me know what subjects you’d like me to address by using the ASK TERRY button in the right-hand sidebar.

Wow! That’s very kind of you Terry. I’m a big fan of your blog even without the giveaways. The whole idea if having reserve yardage with each club really made a big impact on me. I can honestly say that this site has helped my game. I think exploring the game from a philosophical perspective is just as valuable as any mechanical instruction.

Hi Terry Again. Today on XM you gave instructions on swinging the wedge with low hand and body turn. Can you post a site with that info or direct me to that information. Thanks

Hi Terry. I heard listened to your guest appearance on XM today which has lead me to this site. There is a tremendous amount of info here and look forward to receiving your news letter in the future.

Just found this place again Terry. Looks like I have a bit of reading to catch up on.

We are working on a new site that will have all kinds of instruction on it. Hope to have that up in a month or two. Keep watching, as you “TheWedgeGuy” readers will be the first to know. I also encourage you to sign up for “The SCoR Zone” our EIDOLON e-newsletter that always has a feature story on the short game from a technique point of view.

Terry,
What a generous offer. Thank you for designing such an amazing club. The amount of spin I am generating with the V-SOLE wedge has been a talking point in the ‘Rat Pack’ (my playing group). I am now winning more skins and doing so with far less expensive balls than the $60 a dozen that seem to be so popular. I figure that my V-Sole wedge will pay for itself by the end of the summer.

Terry,
I read your posts regularly, me being a new golfer with my father’s old, beat up warrior clubs that are about four inches too short for me. I am currently using your tips and using geometry to help find ways to overcome this “short”coming. Until I get new clubs i will always miss right of the green unfortunately.
Tee ‘em high and hit ‘em hard,
Dave C

Terry,
I almost forgot! Could you please come up with some tips for tall people or those using clubs too short for them? Much appreciated.
Thanks again,
Dave C

I agree fully. In fact, I couldn’t agree more.

Very generous offer Terry.
Thanks,

Your offer is generous (and I really like my two EIDOLON wedges) - but don’t assume that people (well, me anyway) aren’t reading your blog even if they don’t post comments.

Terry - This is a great blog. I just started reading a couple of weeks ago and have added it to my Google Reader so that I don’t miss any updates. I even cut down the length of my driver from 45.5 to 44.5 inches based upon you post from last April. Works great!

I’ve been lurking here for ages just absorbing the quality information exchange but if you are going to make a generous offer like that then I have to make a post if for no other reason than to give you a better idea of how many people actually read and enjoy your blog.
I’m looking forward to your new and improved site.

Great offer. I was coming back to get my 3rd wedge. Maybe I will win it now. My game has improved by at least 4 strokes a round due to the faith I have in my wedges. I just need to add one more.

Very nice offer! Enjoy your blog - keep up the good work.

I am very interested in the wedges, I want to see what they can do.

I’ve been researching different wedges lately, and really like what you have to say. I’m at that point in my game when precision inside 100 yds. will make all the difference.

Terry, I want to echo the comment above which said we read your thoughts and sugguestions but have not “responded” in the blog. We should support you better with feedback. Keep the good thoughts coming.

I just received my first order from Eidolon and my new wedges are built and drying on the workbench as I type. I am looking forward to adding Eidolon as my premiere line of wedges for 2008. Very impressed to say the least.
Thanks,
Bob.

Thanks for the offer! I recently purchased the Eidolon sand wedge and it is by far the best wedge out there!

Excellent offer - I was talking to my Dad about getting my Wilson R90 Sand Wedge re-gripped and he said I might just want to give it to the smithsonian instead!
I say a bunch of “super” wedges on the Golf Channel that are suppose to have new groove and cavity design so they last more than a year, anyone know if that’s true?

wedges improve our scoring and enjoyment of golf — feel is required — feel the weight of the club head — so dont grip the club tight — relax your hands — shoulders and arms — remember like myself — most of us are not getting paid to play this wonderful game — so relax and enjoy the moment the surrounding and the friends you are playing .
